Job Description
The Senior Director of Philanthropic Engagement at Climate Action Campaign in Irvine, CA, will lead fundraising efforts to support the organization's mission, managing a team and developing strategies to secure significant donations. Candidates should have over 15 years of nonprofit fundraising experience, particularly with major donors. The role requires in-person networking and community presence, with a salary range of $135k to $170k and various benefits.
Join us as the Senior Director of Philanthropic Engagement, a pivotal role leading the charge in securing essential funding to support Climate Action Campaign's (CAC) mission to advocate for policies that protect our communities and our climate. Reporting directly to the CEO and managing the Philanthropy Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping a visionary fundraising strategy aimed at surpassing our nearly $2 million annual fundraising goal.
We are seeking a dynamic, experienced fundraiser who excels at building meaningful relationships, successfully closing significant gifts, and fostering a culture of philanthropy within our organization. This position grants you the autonomy to design and implement innovative fundraising initiatives.

Located in or planning to relocate to San Diego, CA, or Orange County, CA. You should be able to network and meet with donors in-person. Note: Our headquarters is located in San Diego, CA.Your Schedule:
