Senior Development Manager

The Sustainable Partnership is hiring a Senior Development Manager to oversee project development for utility-scale solar and energy storage projects in the US. Responsibilities include managing project teams, budgets, schedules, and ensuring successful project commencement. Candidates should have at least 6 years of experience in project development within the renewable energy sector, particularly with Tribes/Indian Reservations.
The Sustainable Partnership is working closely with a leading global power generation company that develop and operate Solar, Energy Storage and Wind projects. They are one of the fastest growing renewable energy companies in the US and are looking to make an important hire for their Development Team.

The candidate will manage project development efforts and lead a team of subject matter experts from project inception, through contracting, and up to commencement of construction. This includes project permitting, coordinating site studies and diligence, managing the interconnection process, managing project development budgets and schedule, managing engineering, contract management and ensuring projects successfully reach construction commencement

Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of development of utility scale solar and energy storage projects from greenfield origination through construction
• Lead interdisciplinary teams including: land negotiations, real estate, engineering, permitting, legal and interconnection
• Develop and manage project development schedules, budgets, and financial models, including all inputs and assumptions

Candidate profile:
• Minimum of 6 years of project development experience in utility-scale solar energy or energy storage facilities
• Experience working with Tribes/ Indian Reservations (Essential)
