As our new colleague, you will work on challenging and innovative projects with a focus on helping companies work towards achieving net zero and move towards transition in a low carbon economy.
Who are you?
You are someone who has a strong interest in making a positive impact in addressing the climate crisis. You love working with people and clients and know how to manage complex data to identify key trends and provide valuable insights. Climate, net zero and transition interests you and you want to impact the world positively with your work. You are proactive and know how to engage people. Other important qualities include:
• Advisory skills such as analytical thinking, flexibility, active communication
• Relevant experience in climate change/transition (e.g. at a consulting firm or in-house CSR department)
• Experience in greenhouse gas accounting and reporting (e.g. GHG Protocol, SECR, PCAF, EEIO), target setting (e.g. SBTi),
• Knowledge of reporting frameworks (e.g. CDP and TCFD disclosures), and awareness of developments in the field, such as those around corporate sustainability reporting (EU CSRD, SASB, GRI).
We’re not expecting you to excel in every one of the competencies above and we provide training and mentoring. Beyond your work experience and background, we really value enthusiasm, willingness to learn, and drive.
What do we offer?
• Fair, equitable and market-leading compensation, recognising your skills and work experience;
• A chance to work on the cutting edge of climate and sustainability knowledge, studies, methods and techniques
• A culture of continuous learning and growth, through our ERM Academy platform
• Hybrid working, with access to an active ERM office environment to shadow colleagues and learn
• A culture where we care for our people, with access to wellbeing support and a strong DEIB policy
• A fun work environment in which you work together with dedicated colleagues who want to progress towards a sustainable future.
