Senior Conservation Technician, Paper and Photographs

Tate is seeking a Senior Conservation Technician for paper and photographs in the UK. The role involves providing expertise in mounting, framing, and storing art on paper and photographs, as well as collaborating with a conservator and team. Ideal candidates enjoy problem solving, technical skill development, and task coordination. This full-time position offers a salary of £31,527 annually.
The Senior Conservation Technician provides technical expertise on the mounting, framing, storage and packing of art on paper, photographs, library, and archive material. Day to day you will undertake a variety of traditional and modern mounting, framing, and housing techniques, devise display, installation and packing methods. You’ll work closely with a paper conservator and the wider team to ensure the highest standards in the care of Tate’s paper-based collections.
