Job Description

Arconic is seeking a Senior Category Manager, Direct Materials in Pittsburgh, PA, to oversee alloying materials and manage supplier relationships. The role aims to optimize external spend, minimize sourcing risks, and enhance supplier performance. The position is part of Arconic's Procurement Team, reporting to the Senior Director of Metal Procurement. Arconic is currently seeking a Senior Category Manager, Direct Materials to join our Procurement Team based in Pittsburgh, PA. This position reports to the Senior Director, Metal procurement. The successful candidate will be responsible for several assigned alloying materials used in production. This includes the management of critical supplier relationships The overall goal is to achieve the best total cost position for all external spend within the Categories, the lowest sourcing risks, and best supplier performance to ensure the highest efficiency and effectiveness of the procurement team.

This position is subject to Export Control Law
