Senior Buyer – Wind (m/f/d)We are currently supporting a well-established and mission-driven renewable energy developer in the search for a Senior Buyer – Wind (m/f/d) to join their growing team in Germany. This organization has been a trailblazer in the clean energy space for over two decades and continues to develop large-scale wind, solar, biogas, and hydrogen projects across Germany and international markets.This is a pivotal role in their wind procurement team, offering the chance to lead contract negotiations with top-tier turbine suppliers and contribute to one of Europe’s most ambitious renewable energy portfolios.The RoleAs Senior Buyer – Wind, you will lead strategic procurement activities related to wind turbine generator (WTG) supply and maintenance contracts. Your focus will be on projects in Germany and abroad, managing supplier relationships and coordinating internally across engineering, legal, and project delivery teams.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the selection process for wind turbine suppliers across domestic and international projects.Lead tenders and contract negotiations for WTG supply and O&M agreements.Serve as the primary contact for new and existing turbine manufacturers and their regional representatives.Monitor and assess local market trends, turbine technologies, and supplier capabilities.Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure seamless project delivery.Conduct manufacturer and supply chain due diligence, contributing to the company’s expansion into new markets.Your ProfileDegree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Law, or a related field.Proven experience in international procurement or sales; experience purchasing wind turbines is a significant advantage.Strong technical comprehension with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.Fluent in German, with business-fluent English.Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Project and Access.Agile, collaborative, and motivated by the energy transition.This company has a fantastic reputation and culture, offers excellent perks as well as a salary up to €90,000 for this role.
