Job Description

Carbon Clean is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager in Calgary, AB, responsible for developing opportunities across various industrial sectors in Canada. Key duties include implementing strategic growth plans, building customer relationships, providing market intelligence, and collaborating with teams. Candidates should have extensive business development experience in the Energy sector, ideally with a background in carbon capture. The role offers hybrid working options and emphasizes a diverse and inclusive culture.
In this role you will be responsible for developing and closing opportunities across all relevant industrial sectors in Canada

Your key focus will be:
• Develop and implement a strategic plan for growing the Canada market for the breakthrough technology and equipment from Carbon Clean
• Grow strategic customer relationships & other partners at all levels
• Collaborate with the wider team within Carbon Clean to develop winning customer solutions
• Provide accurate revenue forecasts, market intelligence, policy assessment and opportunity reports
• Professionally represent the Canadian team of Carbon Clean, internally and externally.
• Internal & external reporting requirements as per the business reporting requirements.
• Others responsibilities as needed by the reporting line management.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should have a combination of the below knowledge, skills, and experience:
• You will have a passion for developing the emerging carbon capture market and capturing its tremendous growth potential.
• Extensive Calgary-based business development experience within Energy / Oil & Gas. Broad industry connections including EPC relationships.
• Able to gain deep insights into the carbon capture market in western Canada and to identify customer’s critical success factors.
• Successful track record of developing a region and closing capital equipment system sales.
• Engineering degree is required, ideally Mechanical or Chemical Engineering. Strong technical abilities will be necessary.
• Skilled at guiding a team including applications engineering, marketing, and finance.
• Highly-proficient in verbal and written communications.
• Able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
• Prior experience of working with EPC in gas separation business or another Carbon Capture
