PwC Australia is seeking a Senior Associate for their CFO Advisory team in Sydney. The role involves developing client relationships, enhancing project management and technical skills, and providing assurance services. About the Role

Our CFO Advisory team is expanding and we’re looking for a Senior Consultant to join our vast community of solvers. The CFOA team brings our purpose to life by providing a range of Assurance services and business advice to a variety of clients, from small, fast-growing companies to large entities. Our clients are often well-known brands with broad international reach. We focus on using the latest technology to reduce manual testing, ensuring you’ll concentrate on the most valuable areas of client service and enhance corporate governance and the reliability of our clients’ information.

You’ll help solve complex problems by using your skills in:
• Finance function modernisation: Assisting the shift from transaction processing to data led insights for trusted decision making.
• Process Optimisation: Process modernisation, activity analysis, risk and control design and continuous monitoring.
• Finance System Implementation Support: Business Case, chart of accounts design, program management, control design/assurance.
• Cost optimisation: Determining operating model and commercial benefits to fund modernisation programs.
• Transactional Change: Considering pre or post deal support from governance, accounting, integration and synergy realisation.

In our CFOA team, your impact will be seen by:
• Developing a deep understanding of our clients’ financial reporting requirements, financial controls and processes, and executing bespoke reviews and reports with your observations
• Designing and implementing robust control frameworks, and optimising financial reporting to enable effective decision making
• Assisting clients in optimising their finance functions through digital transformation and management reporting modernisation
• Fostering trusted client relationships and identifying new opportunities to help them achieve their unique business goals
• Supporting and advising our clients as they consider options for transactions or listing their business in foreign jurisdictions e.g. the USA.
• Supporting Managers in the team to ensure timely delivery of projects and high quality deliverables to clients.
• Ensuring PwC’s risk management policies are followed and quality standards are adhered to.
