Job Description
RightWorks is seeking a Senior Associate for its environmental transactions practice in Denver, CO. Candidates should have 6-9 years of relevant experience, particularly in large transactions and environmental due diligence. Responsibilities include managing consultants, drafting M&A agreements, and client interaction. Strong writing and interpersonal skills are essential. The role offers a competitive salary of $370K to $415K, plus bonuses and benefits, in a full-time capacity.
The Denver office is seeking an outstanding Senior Associate to join our highly regarded environmental transactions practice. Ideal candidates should have six to nine years of environmental transactions experience, preferably from a large law firm. This position will provide the associate with an opportunity to play a lead role in one of the most sophisticated environmental transactions practices in the country.
Preferred candidates will have experience working on large transactions, including managing environmental consultants, preparing diligence reports, drafting and negotiating the environmental provisions of M&A agreements, and evaluating and procuring environmental and R&W insurance. All candidates should have experience conducting environmental due diligence and have comfort interacting directly with clients. Experience with environmental counseling and litigation is a significant plus, but not a requirement. Strong writing skills, excellent academic credentials, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to excellence are required. Further, candidates should be excellent supervisors.
Compensation for this role will be top-of-market, with an annualized salary range of $370K to $415K, depending on the candidate’s overall experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for a discretionary or an hours-based bonus, consistent with market practice. In addition, this position will be eligible for the firm’s fringe benefits as they currently exist.
