Join a mission-driven environmental consultancy committed to shaping a sustainable future! We are seeking experienced Senior and Principal Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Consultants to join our well-established team working across diverse sectors, including infrastructure, energy, water, transport, and development.
This role offers the flexibility of remote work with occasional site or office meetings. You will be part of a friendly, expert-led team blending deep technical skills in ecology, heritage, landscape, air quality, and other natural sciences, all dedicated to achieving meaningful environmental outcomes.
What you'll be doing:
• Leading or supporting EIA delivery for a diverse portfolio of UK projects.
• Coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing project timelines and budgets effectively.
• Engaging directly with clients and stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Contributing to business development initiatives and mentoring junior staff.
• Helping clients navigate planning regimes such as TCPA and DCO.
What we're looking for:
Senior EIA Consultant:
• Minimum of 4 years' consultancy experience in EIA.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Project management and client liaison experience.
• IEMA or CIEEM membership (or similar) is preferred.
Principal EIA Consultant:
• At least 7 years' EIA consultancy experience.
• Proven track record in managing and delivering complex EIA projects.
• Strong leadership skills and experience mentoring others.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant environmental law and planning frameworks.
