About the Team:
The FP&A team plays a vital role in executing Coinbase's strategic vision, translating ambitious goals into actionable financial strategies. We concentrate on the effective allocation of company resources, providing essential insights that fuel our growth and shape the future of finance. Our responsibilities include managing the financial roadmap, from annual operating plans to comprehensive business reviews that inform essential decisions.
We are currently seeking a Senior Analyst for Finance and Strategy to be an integral member of the FP&A team for our Consumer division.
What You'll Do:
• Oversee Financial Deliverables: Ensure accuracy in forecasting, reporting, and analysis related to your business partners, and meet all deadlines for the annual budget and monthly planning processes.
• Identify Actionable Insights: Analyze financial and operational data to uncover trends and opportunities while understanding the reasons behind the numbers.
• Act as a Key Financial Partner: Build strong relationships with partners, present findings during business reviews, and translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Ensure Financial Integrity: Own the month-end close process for your areas, perform detailed variance analysis, and collaborate with the Accounting team to guarantee the accuracy of our financial data.
• Develop and Manage Financial Models: Create and maintain financial models that assess financial risks and opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in fast-paced tech environments, FinTech, or financial services.
• Familiarity with financial software (e.g., Anaplan, NetSuite) and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau).
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing large datasets.

Pay Transparency Notice: The target annual base salary for this role may range from $130,900 to $154,000 USD, depending on your work location. Full-time offers from Coinbase also include eligibility for bonuses, equity, and benefits (medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)).
