Senior Analyst - Climate Finance (Climate Change and Sustainability)

IPE Global Limited is seeking a Senior Analyst for its Climate Change and Sustainability practice, based in New Delhi. The role involves managing business development, proposal writing, and program management across India, South Asia, and Africa. Job Description:

We are looking to recruit an Senior Analyst who will manage and expand the exciting work undertaken by the Climate Change and Sustainability (CCS) Practice of IPE Global in India, South Asia and Africa. She/he will be responsible for Business Development, which includes gaining early business insights and leading proposal writing upon win, setting up teams for implementation, and then taking on programme management functions to deliver the programme/project successfully.

The Climate Change and Sustainability practice at IPE Global have substantial experience delivering multiyear and high-impact programmes. These programmes are supported by leading donors and foundations and are implemented in partnership with coveted research institutions, civil society organizations, and public institutions. The Associate Manager will work with a team of high-performing professionals and will be involved in cross-collaboration with other practices.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

:Programme Management (50%)

:• Provide support or leadership as needed to identify and secure partners, consultants, and full- time staff

;• Coordinate with project implementation teams to ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables

;• Maintain a collaborative relationship with donor, funder, and/or client counterparts

;• Oversee routine project management activities, including reviewing and submitting project reports to donors, developing budgets and work plans, and backstopping operations as needed

Business Development (30%

):• Identifying new business opportunities within India, South Asia, and Africa, developing leads, and contacting potential donor

s.• Play a key role as lead manager with project staff to successfully manage proposal efforts and resources, including timeline and action planning, identification of proposal team members, facilitation of external partner meetings, efficient communications, and organisation of proposal components, including cost and budg

et• Keeping up to date with trends within the sector, undertaking outreach activities, generating reports, and presenting an analysis of business development progres

s.• Expanding on CCS’s current work, identify growth opportunities in close partnership with team leaders and senior managemen

ence:• Previous experience developing multi-year proposals for bilateral/multilateral organisations, foundations and philanthropies. A good grasp of the Climate Change sector is a
