Our client, a forward-thinking organization dedicated to advancing sustainable agriculture, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Agronomist to join their fully remote team. This role is critical in developing and implementing innovative farming strategies that enhance crop yield, soil health, and environmental stewardship. You will provide expert guidance on crop nutrition, pest and disease management, irrigation techniques, and soil conservation methods, focusing on practices that minimize environmental impact and promote long-term agricultural viability. Your responsibilities will include conducting field research, analyzing data from soil and plant tissue samples, and developing tailored recommendations for farmers and agricultural businesses. You will also play a key role in educating stakeholders on best practices for sustainable land management and resource optimization. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree or Ph.D. in Agronomy, Soil Science, Crop Science, or a related agricultural field. A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in agronomy, with a strong focus on sustainable and regenerative agriculture, is required. Proven experience in data analysis and interpretation, along with proficiency in relevant agricultural software and technologies, is essential. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are needed to effectively convey complex agronomic information and build strong relationships with clients and partners. This position is fully remote, requiring a self-motivated individual with excellent time management and virtual collaboration skills.
