About The Role
As the Senior Administration Officer, you’ll play a key role in supporting the work of the Benefits Distribution Unit (BDU). This position involves providing high-level administrative and project support to the BDU Manager and team, helping to ensure the unit operates smoothly and efficiently. You’ll be responsible for managing communications, coordinating documents, and keeping things on track to make sure the BDU meets its legislative obligations.

In addition to this, you will have: -
• A certificate IV in Business Administration or equivalent of two years’ work experience undertaking similar role or duties.
• Extensive experience in providing a range of administration support functions to senior staff including coordination of meetings, agenda preparation and minute taking.
• Demonstrated understanding of, and interest in, the lived experiences of Aboriginal people in the NLC region.

We Offer
• A base salary of $73,987 per annum plus 14.5% superannuation and salary sacrificing up to $15,900 + meal entertainment and holiday accommodation benefits up to $2,650 per year.
• Other benefits under our Enterprise Agreement include:
• District allowance of up to $4,797 per annum for individuals with dependents and $2,630 without dependents.
• 5 weeks annual leave, leaving loading, 18 days personal leave;
• Paid Christmas close down;
• Upon completion of 12 months of service an Annual airfare with a net (in hand) value of $2,961
