Job Description

Shippit is hiring a Senior Account Executive for NowGo in Sydney, responsible for driving sales growth in fleet management solutions. Key tasks include managing the sales pipeline, expanding market presence, solution selling, and collaborating with various teams. Candidates should have proven SaaS sales experience, industry knowledge, and strong communication skills. This is a full-time position with no degree requirement.
**THE ROLE
• *We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Account Executive – NowGo by Shippit to spearhead sales growth for Shippit’s fleet management solution. In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring and developing new business opportunities with companies that manage their own delivery fleets, including retailers, couriers, and third-party logistics providers. By leveraging your expertise in B2B SaaS sales and last-mile logistics, you will drive NowGo’s market expansion, build strategic relationships, and contribute to Shippit’s long-term success.**

- Sales Pipeline Management: Own the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract closure, ensuring a strong and sustainable pipeline.
- Market Expansion: Identify and convert businesses in need of fleet management solutions, increasing NowGo’s presence across key industries.
- Solution Selling: Consult with logistics, operations, and fleet managers to understand their challenges and position NowGo as a strategic solution.
- Negotiation & Deal Closing: Lead commercial discussions, craft compelling proposals, and secure long-term contracts with prospective clients.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to refine go-to-market strategies and customer engagement.
- Industry Expertise: Stay up to date with logistics and fleet management trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
- Sales Forecasting: Maintain accurate forecasting and reporting through CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
- Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed sales quotas, driving revenue growth for NowGo.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS*

- Experience: Proven sales experience as an Account Executive in the SaaS enterprise sector. Demonstrated success in selling software solutions to logistics, freight, and operations stakeholders is a plus.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the retail and eCommerce industry, including logistics and fulfillment challenges.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation abilities, with a focus on value-driven sales and differentiation.
- Team Collaboration: A collaborative and proactive team player with a positive attitude.
- Complex Sales Management: Experience navigating complex sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and processes efficiently.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency with Google Workspace, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Salesforce CRM.
