Stratco Australia is seeking a full-time HC Truck Driver in Ormeau, responsible for vehicle load management, delivering to customers, maintaining logs, and ensuring safety. Candidates must have a Heavy Combination Vehicle License and effective problem-solving skills. THE OPPORTUNITY

An exciting opportunity has become available for a HC Truck Driver based in Ormeau. This position involves working as part of our collaborative Logistics Team - reporting to the Logistics Manager.

This is afull-time role - working a minimum of 38 hours per week.

Responsibilities
• Review vehicle load sheets
• Secure load, prepare manifest and assist loading when required
• Deliver to customers and place onsite as required
• Capture pictures of items delivered for POD
• Maintain vehicle and driver logs
• Liaise with despatch and customers on delivery issues and delays
• Keep a clean truck at all times and ensure maintenance is up to date
• Strict adherence to our critical safety rules and contributing to a safe working environment

About You
• Heavy Combination Vehicle License (HC) or Heavy Rigid Vehicle License (HR) – essential
• Vehicle Loading Crane Ticket (VLC) – essential
• Dogman’s Ticket - preferred but not essential
• Basic Fatigue Management Cert (BFM) = preferred but not essential
• Effective problem solver who can develop solutions that meet the customers’ needs
• Good communicator, both written and verbal
• Enjoys working autonomously
• A passion to deliver excellent customer service
