Gulf Aquaculture is hiring a Seafood Trade & Logistics Coordinator in Umm Al Quwain, UAE. The role involves managing the supply chain for seafood imports and exports, ensuring compliance with health regulations, and handling logistics operations for temperature-controlled shipments. Candidates should have experience with UAE customs systems, strong negotiation skills, and a background in logistics or procurement. A Bachelor's degree and 3-10 years of relevant experience are required.
"We are seeking a Seafood Trade & Logistics Coordinator to oversee the end-to-end supply chain for our international seafood imports and exports. This role is responsible for orchestrating the complex movement of live, fresh, and frozen seafood across borders, managing all import/export documentation, and ensuring strict adherence to international health regulations and food safety standards. The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between buyers, suppliers, freight forwarders, and government regulatory bodies, ensuring that all shipments comply with the sanitary and phytosanitary requirements of both the exporting and importing countries."

• Experience with UAE customs systems and portals (e.g., Dubai Trade, Maqta, or other customs clearance platforms).
• Oversee and manage end-to-end logistics operations for live, fresh, and frozen Seafood (import and export)
• Experience in handling temperature-controlled or perishable shipments (cold chain logistics).
• Ability to plan optimal shipping routes and select cost-effective freight solutions (air/sea/land).
• Handle customs clearance documentation and liaise with freight forwarders.
• Track shipments and resolve delays or transportation issues.
• Track shipments and handle documentation such as invoices, packing lists, bill of lading, and delivery notes
• Monitor and control logistics costs, ensuring cost efficiency in transportation and freight operations.
• Ability to handle shipment delays, customs issues, and operational disruptions with quick problem-solving.
• Collaborate closely with the production team to support operational needs and ensure inventory availability.
• Coordinate closely with warehouse and inventory teams to ensure accurate stock movement and shipment readiness.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to procure goods and services at competitive prices while maintaining quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE regulations related to logistics, procurement, and administration.
• Negotiate freight rates and service agreements with logistics and freight forwarding partners.
• Strong understanding of international shipping terms (Incoterms) and trade documentation.
• Hands-on experience managing international import/export shipments independently.
• Coordinate drivers & vehicle maintenance and general administrative requirements.
• Maintain and update procurement records, contracts, and vendor databases.
• Manage administrative tasks including documentation, office supplies management, and coordinating communication between departments.
• Prepare reports on logistics performance and administrative activities for management review.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven track record with 3–10 years of experience in logistics, procurement, and administration.
- Proven experience in logistics, procurement, and administrative roles, preferably within the agriculture or fishery industry.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with supply chain management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Effective communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle challenges with proactiveness and efficiency.
- Willing to relocate to Umm Al Quwain or anywhere in UAE
- Preferably holds a valid UAE Driving License.- Available to join immediately
- Salary range to AED 6,000 – AED 8,000, depending on experience.
