About the position

As a Supply Chain Planning Manager at Schreiber Logistics, you will provide leadership and direction to a dedicated team of planning partners responsible for the day-to-day execution of inventory and order management. This role is pivotal in collaborating with various business areas to identify planning needs and opportunities, ensuring that the logistics strategy aligns with the overall organizational goals. You will work closely with other departments to enhance processes and foster strong relationships with suppliers, identifying opportunities for process improvement and effective relationship management. In this position, you will cultivate a team culture centered around continuous improvement, accountability, and advocacy for change. You will be responsible for aligning the planning team with the logistics strategy and coaching strategic partnerships between planners and key account managers. Your role will also involve creating and communicating objective measurements to manage supplier service levels effectively. Staying current on industry best practices is essential, as is representing Schreiber Logistics on cross-functional projects. You will collaborate with key internal stakeholders to problem-solve and minimize service outages, ensuring that Schreiber Logistics initiatives are in sync with mid and long-term organizational strategies.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

• 4+ years of customer or inventory planning experience.

• In-depth knowledge of logistics industry best practices.

• Demonstrated knowledge of building and developing end-to-end, best practice processes.

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to influence and think transformatively.

• Must have a reliable internet connection (minimum 10 mb download speed) for remote and hybrid positions.
