About The Role

Are you looking to foster a positive school culture and climate that allows all students to learn and thrive? Seneca’s School Partnership Programs is hiring for a School Culture and Climate Specialist (also known as an Unconditional Education (UE) Coach) to guide grades TK-5 to success at Rosemary Elementary in Campbell, CA. Through implementation of the Unconditional Education (UE) Model, Seneca’s Coaches empower schools with the skills and resources to implement a multi-tiered system of support. In community with students, families, and staff, UE partnerships work to meet every child's academic, behavioral, and social emotional needs.

Responsibilities
• Lead a culture and climate team to assess the school’s overall culture and tiered intervention practices, using community input to develop annual improvement plans
• Lead the implementation of School-Wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (SWPBIS) and Trauma-Informed Practices
• Develop and/or facilitate a transdisciplinary Coordination of Services Team (or equivalent) that supports a data-driven process
• Provide school-wide professional development and individualized staff coaching to equip educators with the skills to support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
• Facilitate evaluation and program improvement assessment activities onsite
• Serve as on-site manager for Seneca team members if applicable
• Plan, lead and coach student group activities social skills groups
• Complete required data collection and service documentation to measure the effectiveness of services, inform team decision making, and/or engage in service billing
• Utilize crisis communication and de-escalation techniques as per Seneca's crisis response training
• This may include intervening with the students’ behavioral program through physical management

Qualifications
• Education/Experience requirements:
• Master’s degree in education, psychology, counseling, social work, a related field, OR
• Bachelor's Degree and 1 year of applicable experience
• Prior experience working in schools and/or navigating school systems is required
• Demonstrated record of effectively leading other adults in creating change
• Two years working full-time in a school setting preferred
• Reliable transportation to and from the school site and other occasional meeting locations
• TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements

Schedule
• School-based schedule:
• Monday to Friday: 8 AM- 4 PM (ability to work occasional flexible schedule when the program needs vary)
• 100% fully working at a Seneca location
• 5 weeks of paid time off, 11 paid holidays, and 14 paid school break days

Benefits
• Starting at $101,846 -$115,846 per year
• Actual salary dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualifications
