Capgemini Engineering is seeking a SCADA Engineer to optimize SCADA platforms for energy clients in the Netherlands. This hands-on role involves programming and maintaining SCADA software, with extensive training provided. Your opportunities as SCADA Engineer at Capgemini Engineering

In this role, you will support an energy client in the eastern part of The Netherlands with optimizing their SCADA platform. Purpose is to ensure the network can run longer and greener, and improves analyses of energy consumption. In this role, you will support with programming and maintaining industry specific SCADA software. For this, we will provide extensive training. It is a very hands-on role, so stakeholder management is limited.

Why is this job vacancy a good fit for you?

To be successful in this role, it is important to have knowledge about automation (PLC/SCADA), protocol knowledge and experience with working with databases (for instance SQL). Furthermore, Dutch language proficiency is preferred, but not required.

Finally, please note that due to the energy regulations, this position can only be filled by EU passport holders. As you are working with sensitive infrastructure, a background screening through the AIVD is also required.
