Job Description
STX Group is seeking a Sales Trader for the Brazilian market, based in Mexico City. This role involves business development, customized trading strategies, and managing OTC contracts in environmental commodities. Candidates should have over 3 years of relevant experience, strong negotiation skills, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field. Proficiency in Portuguese and English is required, and relocation to Mexico City is necessary.

• TEAM AND ROLE*
As a Sales Trader, you play an important role in driving the business forward for Brazilian market and LATAM region. This role entails exposure to a broad spectrum of professionals at all levels, as well as to companies from various industries and markets. By working strategically to offer clients sustainable solutions, you genuinely help them move forward towards a greener future_._
• *KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the business development efforts by crafting customized trades and transactions specifically designed for the Brazilian market, considering market trends and customer needs
- Conduct the implementation of diverse trading strategies within Brazil, ensuring efficient execution
- Act as the primary liaison between sales/origination teams and other stakeholders, facilitating smooth communication
- Assist in formulating and negotiating long-term OTC contracts, aligning terms with business goals
- Manage risk associated with forward book activities, proposing innovative deal structures compliant with market regulations
• KEY REQUIREMENTS
- +3 years of sales or business development experience, preferably in environmental commodities or renewable energy
- Strong negotiation skills for complex OTC contracts.
- Analytical mindset, collaborative approach, and willingness to relocate to Mexico City
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Mathematics, or related fields; an MBA is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Portuguese, and English
- Living or willing to relocate to Mexico DF
