Job Description
STX Group is seeking a Sales Trader for the Brazilian market, based in Mexico City. The role involves crafting customized trades, implementing trading strategies, and negotiating contracts to drive sustainable solutions for clients. Candidates should have over 3 years of sales experience, strong negotiation skills, and a relevant degree. Proficiency in Portuguese and English is required. This is a full-time position with a focus on environmental commodities.

Team and Role
As a Sales Trader, you'll be part of a diverse team with exposure to professionals at all levels, companies from various industries, and markets. Your strategic efforts will involve offering clients customized sustainable solutions, enabling them to advance towards a more environmentally friendly future.
• Crafting customized trades and transactions: Develop specific offerings for the Brazilian market, considering market trends and customer needs.
• Implementing trading strategies: Execute efficient trades within Brazil, ensuring smooth execution.
• Liaising between teams: Facilitate communication between sales/origination teams and stakeholders.
• Negotiating contracts: Formulate and negotiate long-term OTC contracts, aligning terms with business goals.
• Risk management: Manage risks associated with forward book activities, proposing innovative deal structures compliant with market regulations.
Key Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
• Sales or business development experience: At least +3 years of experience, preferably in environmental commodities or renewable energy.
• Negotiation skills: Strong negotiation skills for complex OTC contracts.
• Analytical mindset: Collaborative approach, willingness to relocate to Mexico City.
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Mathematics, or related fields; an MBA is advantageous.
• Language proficiency: Proficiency in Portuguese and English.
