Job Description

Trinity Solar is hiring a Sales Representative for Roofing and Solar in Smithfield, RI. The role involves helping homeowners transition to clean energy, generating new business, conducting in-home sales, and maintaining a prospect database. Candidates should be self-motivated with a strong work ethic. Compensation includes paid training, commission-based pay, health benefits, and a 401K plan. Sales experience is preferred but not required.
Trinity Solar and Roofing, a trusted leader in renewable energy and roofing solutions for over 30 years, is expanding its team! We are looking for motivated and results-driven sales professionals to join our thriving Sales team as we enhance our Solar and Roofing divisions.

Your Role:
• Identify and assist homeowners in their transition to clean energy by pursuing new sales opportunities.
• Generate new business through techniques like running leads, engaging in social media networking, referrals, and neighborhood canvassing.
• Conduct in-home sales appointments using company-provided leads to drive conversions.
• Participate in ongoing weekly sales training to sharpen your skills.
• Learn about customer needs by asking questions and understanding their requirements and pain points.
• Close sales to meet or exceed your sales goals consistently.
• Maintain and grow a database of prospects in your assigned territory.
• Leverage partnerships to expand your reach and book closures.
• Perform effective demonstrations to show how solar solutions can address homeowner concerns.

What You Need:
• A coachable attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Access to a smart device with data capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Sales experience is helpful but not required.

Your Compensation:
• Receive $4,000 in paid training over 8 weeks, with a transition to a commission-based pay structure.
