Candidates of interest must reside in the UK, ideally north of Birmingham.Our client has been a long-standing business and holds a strong growth philosophy and wish to ensure that only the highest quality of service and solutions is offered. This position is a crucial hire for the expanding UK business. This role is selling Solar products and batteries, across the UK. Preferably, you will be based in the Northern UK area, given this where we see the biggest demand right now.Reporting directly to the UK Sales Director, this position’s aim is to increase sales and commercial presence within the region though diligent channel management and implement the new client acquisition strategy for installers.They have an incredible battery solution that is high quality and well respected. With the stock issues easing, the senior team have highlighted the UK as an area of key growth.This opportunity is a fantastic role for a solar PV commercial professional who is seeking a new challenge: to take ownership of a growing sales region and accelerate existing business.Key Responsibilities:Devise and implement sales commercial plan, reporting to the UK Sales DirectorOperationally manage and commercially support solar and electrical wholesalers with sales, business planning, and product queriesRevaluate distributor partnerships and frameworks aligned to growth strategyFocus on new client acquisition with solar and electrical installersIdentify new sales and business opportunities-pursue commercial plan and engage in negotiationClose new business opportunities and sale dealsPartake in sales and business administration tasksDeliver sales presentations and product demonstrations to all existing and prospective internal and external partnersDeliver product installer training and seminarsExecute brand and company message- ensure the business is the supplier of choiceAttend to initial product queries within the region, follow technical and product escalation procedure is requiredKeep abreast with the business status and products of competitorsUtilise market research and knowledge to devise corrective or progressive plans to accelerate the business growth further in regionAchieve Sales KPI’s according to annual business planMonitor the market share of businessEnsure excellent customer satisfactionKey requirements:Educated in the field of Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Power, Renewables or related technical fieldPossess a minimum of 5 years’ technical sales experience, preferably within solar PV and energy storageKnowledge of solar, PV, photovoltaics and battery sales is highly advantageousPossess direct experience in managing channel sales, working with distributorsUnderstand acquiring new business partners, working with installers within the regionDemonstrate proven experience with executing new sales strategy and increasing market shareMust show keen sales and operations management experience and abilityA keen enthusiasm working with client and assisting them to find the best solutionBe a very independent sales professional with a proactive approachBe motivated to get things done and there for customersExpress exceptional interpersonal and communications skillsAbility to work alongside all levels of employee and management to achieve shared goalWillingness to travel extensively across England and Ireland too.To review the job in more detail and discuss this opportunity confidentially, please send your application to: tom.monaco@energy-recruitment.com Show more Show less
