RPS Solar Pumps is seeking a Sales Manager to lead their non-commissioned sales team in Sacramento, CA. The role involves developing sales strategies, analyzing market trends, managing customer relationships, and providing team training. RPS Solar Pumps is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team between Woodland and Davis, California. This pivotal role will oversee the sales team and sales operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in our sales strategies.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep , (bonus points if in agriculture) along with account management, and excellent customer service. You will be responsible for analyzing market trends, supporting the team and their learning, growth and development and enhancing our overall sales performance.
Duties
-Lead and manage the non-commissioned sales team to achieve organizational goals
-Develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with company objectives
-Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
-Manage account relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
-Provide training and support to the sales team on best practices and tools, increase “learning velocity” of the entire team
-Coach and mentor teammates on their level to improve and grow
Qualifications
-Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate and guide a great team-10 years of experience in a sales manager of at least 5 people, preferably in a larger ticket B2C or Agriculture sales department
-Demonstrated dedication to education/reading for inspiring new ideas on sales strategies, leadership and coaching
-Understanding of non-commissioned environments
-Excellent analytical skills to assess data and make informed decisions
-Proficiency in customer service principles and practices
-Experience in account management with a focus on building long-term relationships.
-Past work collaborating with marketing and customer service teams
-Strong communication skills, both verbal and Slack
This position is an onsite role, reporting to the founders of the Company. We are located halfway between Woodland and Davis, and we prefer candidates within a 45 miles.

Our company specializes in Solar Powered Water Pumps Kits that can be customer-installed by ranchers, farmers, offgrid-ers and homesteaders alike. The popular kits include a submersible pump that goes down the well, a controller, solar panels, and all the parts necessary to connect them together when in the field. We are passionate about getting more and more wells ‘off the grid’ powered by renewable energy, empowering and teaching customers how easy it is to DIY themselves.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
