Job Description
Green Mountain Solar seeks a Sales Coordinator in South Burlington, VT. The role involves collecting customer information, scheduling assessments, and providing excellent service. Ideal candidates are self-motivated with strong communication skills, preferably with a sales or customer service background in a technical environment. Familiarity with solar energy is a plus. This is a full-time position with paid time off, and applications can be sent via email.

Responsibilities:
• Early point of contact to collect potential customer information and discuss the solar evaluations, policies, and how we operate to deliver the best solar and energy storage experience.
• Answer phone calls and schedule site assessments for customers.
• Provide high quality service and care to all potential customers and businesses.
• Prepare correspondence to customers and sales team as appropriate.
• Communicate clearly, thoroughly, and professionally with clients and prospects at all times.
• Respond to communications (emails, texts, phone calls, etc. within 24-hours or establish or delegate coverage during vacation times).
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale to installation
• Solar Consultant may also be required to perform other duties as assigned but those are not yet determined. Duties may evolve over time as the business evolves, processes improve, products are introduced, additional resources are added, etc.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in sales or customer service, preferably in a technical sales environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a strong drive to succeed
- Familiarity with solar energy systems and industry trends is a plus
