Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA, Green Grid Inc. (GGI) is a rapidly growing AI-tech venture providing Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) platform and information technology-enabled services to energy and environment industry in private and public sectors. We are seeking a highly driven and creative Sales and Marketing Specialist, to join our collective mission. This role is hands-on and reports directly to the CEO to fuel the company’s sales growth in partnership with the multidisciplinary staff. They key success metric in this role will be to increase sales pipeline by 100% in 6 months.
Role Location: The position is hybrid partially at the San Ramon, CA HQ and telework. Some domestic and international travel required. The ideal candidate must live in the San Francisco Bay area, California, USA.
Key Job Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities are including, but not limited to the following:
· Convert B2B and B2G sales and marketing strategy into execution
· Create branded marketing assets and manage content calendar using modern digital tools
· Plan, design and execute digital and physical marketing campaigns
· Analyze marketing campaign engagement metrics and prepare analytics reports including impacts on sales pipeline
· Coordinate with leadership team to schedule follow-up calls and product demos with prospects
· Maintain accurate records of marketing campaign and CRM platform
· Stay informed on utility industry and marketing trends
· Represent the company at trade shows and conferences
Required Qualifications and Experience:
· A bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent
· Proficient in content strategy, copywriting, SEO optimization, project coordination, and social media management
· Experience with account-based marketing (ABM) and generating and maintaining accurate marketing qualified leads (MQLs) and sales qualified leads (SQLs) database
· Over 3 years of experience in marketing and/or sales, preferred in the utility, energy, or infrastructure sector
· At least 2 years of experience using marketing and CRM tools, including Salesforce, Mailchimp, and ZoomInfo
· Proficient with office productivity technologies and tools in MS Office and Google Workspace environments
· Excellent team player promoting positive, productive, and healthy work culture
· Must have excellent communication skills, emotional quotient (EQ), cultural quotient (CQ), and be highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, flexible, coachable, able to work in a fast-paced nonlinear environment, and able to handle confidential matters
Desired Qualifications:
· A graduate (Master’s or PhD) degree
· Desire to learn and become a strong individual and team contributor
