The Position

As an SSHE Graduate, you will provide support in SSHE implementation, administration, and audits as part of an SSHE Graduate program.

The Opportunity
• Support adhering to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies governing an organization's activities
• Support SSHE administration by collecting and collating SSHE performance data on a monthly basis
• Support SSHE compliance by populating the report templates and submitting the reports for approval
• Administer SSHE training by and scheduling training in line with the matrix, coordinating relevant training and liaising with identified participants to confirm attendance
• Assist with maintaining SSHE documents by capturing updates in procedures and other relevant compliance documents as per group standards and local legislation
• Support SSHE legal compliance by monitoring, collecting and collating SSHE conformance (including incidents and accidents as required by legislation and SSHE standards) information
• Support the SSHE Specialist/ Manager to monitor SSHE compliance of onsite contracted services providers when delivering services by providing SSHE orientation and monitoring compliance against key standards
• Support SSHE audits by sourcing and providing documentation and implementing identified actions and corrective measures in line with the improvement plan

Who you are
Qualifications & experience
• NQF 7 qualification in Safety, Health and Environment or relevant field
• Diploma or Degree in Environmental Science and Sustainability
• Diploma or Degree in Safety and Health Management

Knowledge and skills
• ISO 14001 & 45001 standards
• SHE National Legislation and Standards
• Knowledge of Google Packages In the absence of relevant qualifications, experience in the relevant field and at the relevant level will be considered
