Job Description

Sierra Pacific Industries is seeking a Safety and Environmental Coordinator for its facility in Phenix City, AL. About the position

We are expanding and growing our Windows division, where we manufacture our high-quality windows and doors. Currently, we are seeking a qualified Safety and Environmental Coordinator for our newest and largest operations in Phenix City, Alabama. In this role, you will work closely with the Plant Manager, Superintendent, and Supervisors to achieve company-wide safety and environmental goals. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying potential hazards and implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks. You will also conduct safety training sessions, perform audits, and maintain records related to safety and environmental compliance. Your efforts will contribute to creating a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.

Responsibilities

Requirements
• Experience in safety and environmental management in a manufacturing setting.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice-to-haves
