Rhode Island Clean Energy & Green Building Intern

CLEAResult is hiring a Clean Energy & Green Building Intern in Providence, RI. The intern will support marketing and operations for energy efficiency programs, participate in energy assessments, and assist with developing marketing materials. Responsibilities include creating case studies, marketing plans, and attending site inspections. Candidates should have an interest in marketing and strong interpersonal skills. About the position

The Clean Energy & Green Building Intern will work with several programs CLEAResult delivers on behalf of National Grid in Rhode Island. They will be responsible for providing marketing and operational support for these programs. They will learn how utility sponsored energy efficiency programs work and will have the opportunity to participate in energy assessments, site construction inspections and testing for new construction homes, and building energy modeling.

Responsibilities
• Developing: Zero Energy Homes and Heat Pump customer case studies, PowerPoint presentations, educational handouts, program materials and marketing content for website
,
• Creating: Marketing plans for 1) Zero Energy and 2) Building Performance Consulting
,
• Assisting: Researching energy code updates and updating the Residential New Construction Field and Combustion Safety Guides
,
• Attending: On-site inspections of buildings under construction, energy assessments and weatherization contractor QC inspections
,
• Handling: Customer rebates and appliance invoices for review and processing
