CLEAResult Consulting Inc. is seeking a Clean Energy & Green Building Intern in Rhode Island. The role involves providing marketing and operational support for energy efficiency programs, learning about utility-sponsored initiatives, and participating in energy assessments and inspections. Candidates should have an interest in marketing, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to engage with various stakeholders. Compensation ranges from $18.85 to $24.80 per hour.

They will be responsible for providing marketing and operational support for these programs. They will learn how utility sponsored energy efficiency programs work and will have the opportunity to participate in energy assessments, site construction inspections and testing for new construction homes, and building energy modeling. We are looking for someone with an interest in developing marketing materials (print, digital, content copywriting), and supporting back-office operations. Excellent interpersonal skills are a must for this internship as the selected candidate will represent CLEAResult to a wide variety of stakeholders including utility clients and customers, industry partners, trade allies and training attendees. Programs Include: Residential New Construction, Energy Codes & Electrification – supporting energy efficient, fossil fuel free construction HVAC – supporting increased state-wide adoption of heat pumps Income Eligible Services – providing energy efficiency solutions for income eligible residents Building Performance Consulting – providing green certification and verification services for clients Responsibilities include: Developing: Zero Energy Homes and Heat Pump customer case studies, PowerPoint presentations, educational handouts, program materials and marketing content for website Creating: Marketing plans for 1) Zero Energy and 2) Building Performance Consulting Assisting: Researching energy code updates and updating the Residential New Construction Field and Combustion Safety Guides Attending: On-site inspections of buildings under construction, energy assessments and weatherization contractor QC inspections Handling: Customer rebates and appliance invoices for review and processing Compensation Range $18.85 - $24.80 Currency USD Type Hourly Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.
