Retail Sales Associate-Garden Center Green House

Lumber1 Home Center is seeking a full-time Retail Sales Associate for their Garden Center in Little Rock, AR. The role involves delivering excellent customer service, assisting customers with product selection, and maintaining store organization. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and a good work ethic, with at least one year of retail sales experience. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50lbs and work flexible hours.
Summary: A retail sales associate works in physical retail locations to facilitate sales and other customer interactions. The Retail Sales Associate provides a great shopping environment for customers to encourage people to make purchases. This associate is responsible for helping customers with questions or concerns regarding products and services, including communicating with customers in person, over the phone and via email.

Job Duties:
• Deliver excellent customer service
• Always maintain a positive and professional attitude towards customers
• Assist customers with selection of merchandise
• Greet, interact and monitor customers to assist the store in loss prevention
• Processing orders, forms and requests
• Display and organize products in a store for the customers to locate easily
• Cross-sell products
• Ensure shelves are fully stocked
• Manage returns of merchandise
• Maintain the look of the store by dusting, cleaning and restocking
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
• Familiarity with POS (point of sale) systems and the ability to learn new technologies

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to bend and lift over your head

Experience:

Minimum 1 year sales experience in a retail environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $15.50 per hour
