Job Description
Arup is hiring a Climate Risk Analyst Intern in San Francisco, CA. The role involves supporting qualitative and quantitative risk assessments for various climate-related hazards and developing strategies for risk mitigation and climate adaptation in the built environment. The position is full-time and requires analytical skills to address complex challenges in infrastructure and community resilience.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Climate Risk Analyst Intern. The successful candidate will support qualitative and quantitative risk assessments for one or more hazards (earthquakes, flood, sea level rise, wildfire, wind, heat, climate change, etc.).
The role involves undertaking analyses using engineering first principles and probabilistic approaches to solve clients' most difficult challenges in the built environment. You will also support the development of risk mitigation, climate adaptation, and resilience strategies for buildings and infrastructure projects as well as for cities and communities.
