Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Residential Solar Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves direct engagement with homeowners, canvassing leads, and educating potential customers about the benefits of solar energy. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication skills and a passion for renewable energy.
Responsibilities:
• Canvass designated territories to generate leads and identify potential customers.
• Educate homeowners on the financial and environmental benefits of solar energy.
• Conduct in-home or virtual consultations to assess energy needs and present customized solar solutions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with prospective customers.
• Guide customers through the sales process, from initial contact to contract signing.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators.
• Attend training sessions and stay informed about industry trends and company offerings.
• Utilize CRM tools to track and manage customer interactions.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in sales, preferably in solar, home improvement, or related industries.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with a drive to succeed in a commission-based environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Reliable personal vehicle for transportation.
• Own a personal laptop, iPad, or tablet for presentations and sales tracking.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of solar energy systems is a plus but not required (training provided).
