About the position

Resource Innovations is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Residential Energy Auditor to ensure the quality of work installed by trade allies meets program standards, focusing on residential buildings and systems. The role involves conducting inspections, providing training, and implementing solutions to enhance energy efficiency and safety for New Jersey residents.

Responsibilities
• Implement the field and internal verification process across multiple programs and clients.

• Conduct onsite inspections, write inspection reports, and provide solutions to remedy failed inspections.
,
• Provide education, training, and coaching to trade allies to minimize failed inspections and mitigate faulty workmanship.
,
• Review program QC findings, reports, and remedy inaccuracies.
,
• Leverage best practices and continuous improvement plans to implement long-term solutions in partnership with clients and Program Managers.
,
• Conduct internal and external trainings including webinars and tutorials on relevant business processes and standards.
,
• Manage the process of regularly reviewing and updating critical program documentation including field verification guides and forms.
,
• Stay updated on industry trends and insights regarding policy and procedure manuals.

Requirements
• Knowledge of building science, construction, and technical expertise is required.
,
• A valid US Driver's license is required along with reliable personal transportation to travel 70% to 90% of the time across multiple counties in New Jersey.

• Physical ability to safely access and inspect attics, basements, and crawlspaces, including climbing ladders and navigating confined spaces.
,
• Excellent verbal, customer service, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
,
• Must be a resident of New Jersey.

Nice-to-haves
• 2+ years' experience in a quality control and quality assurance role, or consulting, energy efficiency or utility experience highly desired.

• Building Performance Institute (BPI) - Building Analyst Certificate preferred.
,
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
,
• Proficient skills with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
