Residential Solar Sales Representative (Door-to-Door)

Cannon Solar is expanding our team in Seattle, Washington, and we're looking for highly motivated and results-driven Residential Solar Sales Representatives to join our door-to-door (D2D) sales force. As a Solar Sales Representative, you will be on the front lines, educating homeowners about the benefits of switching to solar energy and generating leads for our installation team. This is a commission-based role with high earning potential, offering the chance to make a significant impact while contributing to a greener future.

Responsibilities:
• Canvass assigned residential areas door-to-door to identify potential customers interested in solar energy.
• Engage homeowners in compelling conversations about the benefits of solar power, including cost savings, environmental impact, and energy independence.
• Qualify leads by gathering essential information and scheduling appointments for follow-up consultations.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and leads generated.
• Collaborate closely with the Office Sales Manager and team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
• Stay up-to-date on solar product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
• Represent Cannon Solar professionally and ethically at all times.

Qualifications:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed and meet sales goals.
• Comfortable and effective in a D2D sales environment.
• Positive attitude and resilient in the face of challenges.
• Ability to learn and articulate complex information clearly and concisely.
• Prior sales experience (D2D experience a plus, but not required).
• Knowledge of the solar industry is a plus, but comprehensive training will be provided.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and some weekends.

Compensation:

This is a commission-based position with uncapped earning potential. Your income is directly tied to your performance and the number of qualified leads and sales you generate. Top performers can earn significantly!

Pay: $120,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
