Research Project Manager for Climate Modeling

The Cmcc Foundation is seeking a Research Project Manager for Climate Modeling in Caserta, Italy. The role involves managing national and international research projects, overseeing finances, engaging with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance. Candidates should have a Master's degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years of project management experience in research or environmental sectors. This is a full-time position.
The Project Manager will play a critical role in supporting the Regional Models and Geo-Hydrological Impacts (REMHI) Division, ensuring the efficient execution of national and international research projects. Key responsibilities include project development and execution, financial and administrative oversight, consortium and stakeholder engagement, risk and compliance management, knowledge transfer and dissemination, monitoring and reporting, and strategic coordination. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree (or equivalent) in Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Economics, Political Science, or a related field, and proven experience (minimum 3 years) in project management within research, innovation, or environmental sectors.
