Job Description
Nanyang Technological University Singapore seeks a Research Fellow for a project on low carbon concrete with reused IBA. The role involves developing new materials, testing advanced concrete, and conducting cost-benefit analyses. Candidates should hold a PhD and have relevant research experience, particularly in sustainable concrete and material analysis. The position is full-time and based in Singapore.

We are looking for a Research Fellow to work on low carbon concrete with reused IBA. The role will focus on focus on research and development of new materials related to the project.
Key Responsibilities
• Responsible for new low carbon materials incorporated with reused IBA;
• Test all relevant aspects of advanced concrete material developed;
• Conduct cost-benefit and LCA analysis of the material developed.
• Conduct research on low carbon concrete/geopolymer material with by-products/waste ingredients. The developed materials may be demonstrated in suitable applications.
Job Requirements
• PhD Degree from a reputable university with relevant research experience/expertise and strong journal publication record.
• Prior experience on similar research and strong record of journal publication and/or IP generation will be favourably reviewed.
• Relevant experiment skills such as nano and/or microstructural based material tailoring, novel and sustainable concrete development, geopolymer or other green cement, mechanical testing, thermal and/or electrical conductivity testing, and material chemical and micro-structural analysis.
