Job Description

CarbonCapture Inc. is seeking a Research Engineer for Sustainable Energy in Los Angeles, CA. Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in Materials Science or Chemical Engineering, with over 5 years of industrial R&D experience focusing on novel materials for CO2 capture. Expertise in sorbents for Direct Air Capture (DAC) and various synthesis techniques is required. This is a full-time position posted 3 days ago.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need a D. in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, along with 5+ years of industrial experience in an R&D laboratory with a focus on synthesis and characterization of novel materials for CO2 capture. You should also have in-depth knowledge of various sorbents suitable for DAC, including MOFs, polymers, and amine-based sorbents, as well as proficiency in a range of synthesis and characterization techniques.
