The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Associate in Environmental Remote Sensing and Analytics to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting applied research in remote sensing, using AI / ML techniques, collaborating with academic and research institutions, and advancing innovative methodologies for ecosystem conservation and resource management.
• Conduct research and develop methodologies for processing geospatial data, with a focus on environmental applications such as mangrove mapping, biomass estimation, and habitat monitoring.
• Collaborate with academic institutions, research organizations, and governmental agencies to align research objectives with broader sustainability goals.
• Analyze remote sensing data, including SAR and optical imagery, using machine learning and cloud-based platforms such as Azure or Google Earth Engine.
• Support the preparation of high-impact publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at international conferences.
• Participate in multi-institutional research initiatives, contributing technical expertise and fostering partnerships in geospatial analytics.
