Description of Research Assistant Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Assistant to support our research efforts, data analysis, and coding tasks for the Center for Technology and Economic Development s projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, and MATLAB, strong writing skills, and knowledge of the research projects in CTED.

Responsibilities include conducting research on blockchain applications, completing miscellaneous tasks under the direction of the Principal Investigator, assisting with field research projects, data analysis, creating blockchain applications and experimental designs, and generating research reports and academic papers.

Applicants must have a bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics or a related field, extensive coding experience, and preferably experience conducting field research in emerging countries and working on randomized controlled trials (RCTs).

Researchers with experience in web development, blockchain, commodities markets, labor migration, and technology and economic development will be considered a plus.
