Job Description

RSM UK is seeking a Research Assistant in London, offering a hybrid work model. This role, ideal for graduates or soon-to-be graduates, involves conducting various research tasks within a professional services firm. Candidates should possess a good degree, excellent communication skills, and familiarity with AI tools. Overall purpose:

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a valued Information and Knowledge Service within a national professional services firm. The candidate will undertake a variety of research, within a team of highly experienced information professionals, with opportunities to specialise in an industry.

This post is aimed at graduates, or those due to graduate in 2025, and who are planning to apply to study for a postgraduate course in Research and Information Management; or who are interested in a career as an information professional in a corporate environment.

The post offers hybrid working (mixture of office and home-based).

Key Responsibilities:
• Responding to information and research requests from all offices and service lines (requests are of a wide variety, and can be related, but not limited, to property research, market and financial data, property history, legal research, industry and sector coverage etc.)
• Current awareness
• Project research, independently and as part of a team

Experience and skills:
• Good degree in any discipline.
• Capable of working with minimal supervision on routine tasks.
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
• Experience using AI tools, such as Co-Pilot.
• General computer literacy and good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
• Excellent organisational skills with an ability to work to deadlines.
• A positive attitude towards work with an ability/motivation to learn new skills.
• Attentive to detail.
• Resilient, flexible, enthusiastic, confident and proactive.
