Kintec Global Recruitment is seeking a Renewable Solutions Operator for a home-based position in Nottinghamshire, UK. Position: Renewable Solutions Operator – Energy Systems (District Heating, Solar PV, Heat Pumps)

We are currently supporting a leading company in the energy sector as they search for a Renewable Solutions Operator to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals with expertise in low carbon solutions, particularly within district heating, solar PV, and heat pumps, to take a technical leadership role in delivering innovative energy systems for a sustainable future.
Main Responsibilities:
• Innovation & Leadership: Lead the development of innovative energy systems, driving projects forward in the rapidly growing renewable energy sector.
• Project Leadership: Take on the lead technical role for larger, more complex projects, overseeing and providing in-depth analysis of key project development metrics to ensure commercial content meets customer and project requirements.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs to ensure the successful development and delivery of energy solutions.
• Budget Management: Take responsibility for managing project development budgets, ensuring that financial targets are met while delivering high-quality, sustainable solutions.
• Feasibility & Concept Design: Manage the feasibility and concept design process, creating innovative and commercially attractive proposals for decarbonisation projects.
• Team Oversight: Monitor the development team to ensure that the project portfolio aligns with time, cost, environmental, quality, and safety indicators.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including commercial, procurement, legal, design, and project management teams, to ensure successful project delivery in terms of programme, cost, quality, and safety targets.
What We Need from You:
• Educational Background: Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Energy, Materials, or Chemical Engineering (preferred).
• Experience: Proven track record in project development within the electrical/mechanical engineering sector, with experience delivering multi-technology industrial and commercial energy solutions, particularly in low carbon technologies.
• Skills: Strong leadership and project management abilities, with a focus on delivering effective, commercial energy solutions and driving decarbonisation initiatives.
• Eligibility: Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.
