PacifiCorp is hiring an experienced Renewable Energy Technician to work on various projects throughout the US West. The successful candidate will conduct avian and wildlife surveys, analyze data, and ensure compliance with regulations.
Main Responsibilities
• Conduct surveys and evaluations of electrocution and collision risks on power lines.
• Collect and record data on avian use, mortalities, and protection measures for wind turbines, solar projects, and power lines.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal laws as well as PacifiCorp's Avian Protection Plans and policies.
• Document and track bird and other wildlife mortalities, live raptors, and bird nests.
