Key Responsibilities
">

• Lead the design and build of complex mechanical systems, including prototype units, testing, and troubleshooting.">
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.">
• Mentor junior colleagues and participate in component working groups to advance overall AirJoule capabilities.">
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and deliver against weekly actions to drive productization roadmap forward.">

Requirements
">
">
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or Master's degree with 12 years of experience, or Ph.D. with 10 years of experience.">
• A minimum of 15 years of experience designing and building novel mechanical systems, with expertise in CAD software such as CATIA, SolidWorks, and Ansys.">
• Hands-on experience with rapid prototyping, system modeling, and progression from prototypes to commercial products.">
• Familiarity with HVAC systems, vacuum chambers, pumps, compressors, shafts, bearings, dampers, couplings, seals, gears, and thermal management problems.">
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and be flexible with company pivots while championing safety on the plant floor.">
