Golden Valley Electric Association is seeking a Renewable Energy Specialist in Fairbanks, AK. Candidates should have a relevant BS degree or equivalent experience in energy systems and a valid Alaska driver's license. The role focuses on promoting informed energy consumption for sustainability. The position offers professional growth opportunities in a collaborative environment. Job Requirements
• A BS degree from an ABET-accredited program in engineering, environmental sciences, community planning, or business development.
• An Associate degree combined with two years of relevant energy systems/audit experience or five years of electric utility work experience.
• A valid Alaska driver's license.
• Certifications such as Energy Manager In Training or Energy Efficiency Practitioner within six months.
