Our client is seeking an experienced Renewable Energy Project Manager to lead the development and execution of solar energy projects. This role involves overseeing all phases of project lifecycles, from initial feasibility studies and site selection to construction and commissioning. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining remote flexibility with essential on-site engagement in Atlanta, Georgia . The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of solar technology, project finance, and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of solar project development, including site acquisition, permitting, interconnection, and financing. Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules, and monitor progress to ensure timely and cost-effective completion. Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and preliminary engineering reviews. Coordinate with internal teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) partners, legal, and finance departments. Engage with local authorities, utilities, and stakeholders to secure necessary approvals and permits. Oversee the procurement of equipment and services, negotiating contracts with suppliers and vendors. Manage EPC contractors during the construction phase, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to project timelines. Monitor project performance and identify potential risks, developing mitigation strategies. Prepare regular project status reports and presentations for senior management and investors. Stay current with industry trends, policy changes, and emerging technologies in the renewable energy sector. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil), Environmental Science, Business, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the renewable energy sector, with a focus on solar PV projects. Proven track record of successfully developing and delivering solar projects from concept to completion. Strong understanding of solar technology, grid interconnection processes, and power purchase agreements (PPAs). Experience with financial modeling, project finance, and investment analysis. Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6). Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with environmental regulations and permitting processes.
