The Sustainable Partnership is partnered with a leading renewable energy company who are seeking a Project Engineer / Project Manager (DOE) to join their growing utility scale renewables team in North America.

Our client is a leader in solar + battery storage installation, with a strong pipeline of projects at all stages and strong financial backing for continued growth.

Solar experience is a must for this role

Responsibilities:
• Be responsible for leading the design and execution phases of new large-scale renewable energy projects.
• Give technical support to the late-stage development, pre-construction and construction phases of solar and battery storage projects in the US.
• Take the lead on RFP and RFI processes.
• Perform quality control and health and safety assessments on site during construction.
• Assess and recommend project equipment, including but not limited to inverters, modules and batteries.
• Create and/or review project designs and energy production assessments.
• Site visits before and during construction, up to 25% of the time.

Candidate Profile:
• Some level of solar/BESS design, development or construction experience is essential.
• 3+ years’ professional experience in the renewables industry preferred.
• Proficient in industry tools such as AutoCAD tools and PVsyst or similar.

This role is in-office in Durham, you will be required to be in office 4/5 days a week.
