About the position

The Renewable Energy Project Manager at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) will lead various renewable energy projects aimed at developing and operating affordable and reliable electricity solutions. This role involves managing diverse technical teams, engaging with key sponsors such as the Department of Energy (DOE), and ensuring project execution aligns with organizational strategies and goals. The position emphasizes project management skills, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to navigate complex project environments.

Responsibilities
• Support the development and operation of renewable energy projects.

• Engage with key sponsors like DOE's Water Power Technologies Office.
,
• Coordinate project direction, implementation, execution, and completion.
,
• Acquire resources and coordinate efforts of team members and third-party resources.
,
• Define project objectives and oversee quality control throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements
• BS/BA and 7+ years of relevant project management experience or MS/MA and 5+ years of relevant project management experience.

• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
,
• Established relationships and experience working with DOE's Water Power Technologies Office and other EERE offices.
,
• Experience leading proposal development and soliciting information from technical experts.
,
• Understanding of project management principles and proficiency in industry best practices.

Nice-to-haves
• Preferred degree(s) in business administration or related field.
