What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
• Take a lead in drafting company policies and public agendas
• Play a big role in driving external relations and presenting regulatory policy on controversial topics tied to development of renewable energy projects
• Draft fact sheets, graphic materials, and web design content reflecting the company's mission
• Develop and implement company charity initiatives based on corporate as well as project initiatives
• Manage internal company systems like SharePoint and WordPress for internal/external communication purposes
• Act as lead coordinator for event management, media coverage, and company website development work

What is Required (Qualifications):
• Bachelor's Degree focused on political science, environmental policy, or communications (ideally with a focus on renewable energy or energy infrastructure)
• Effective communicator with solid verbal and contextual conversation skills
• Proficiency in popular media communication design applications like WordPress, Canva, SquareSpace, and SharePoint
• Understanding of media design strategy and experience working with designers on graphics for media campaigns
• Ability to participate in advanced level discussions in the utility-scale renewables, transmission, and battery storage space
• Preferred candidates have experience in roles such as Policy Analyst, Policy Associate, Communications Analyst, Communications Associate, Regulatory Affairs Analyst, Regulatory Affairs Associate, Regulatory Analyst, Regulatory Associate
